Can my student choose their roommate?
For Lavender Living, all roommate-group members must request and accept one another before room selection. Other housing preferences are managed through MyHousing and remain subject to assignment availability.
Is a requested roommate guaranteed?
CSUMB repeatedly states that placements and room changes depend on available housing. Even a fully confirmed roommate group cannot create a guarantee that a matching shared space will remain available.
