University of Kansas: How does KU's housing guide suggest narrowing a Lawrence search when a visitor may not buy a car?

DIRECT ANSWER

University guidance captured October 16, 2026. Confirm current policies, eligibility, schedules and property-specific terms with the linked source. No travel time, current bus schedule, route access or address distance is verified.

The guide recommends looking near work/study locations or public transportation and considering walkable access to groceries and other amenities. It links Lawrence Transit; its undated day-by-day frequency statements require a current schedule check before commute planning.
