University of Kansas: Should an incoming KU scholar assume a Lawrence apartment is furnished?

DIRECT ANSWER

University guidance captured October 16, 2026. Confirm current policies, eligibility, schedules and property-specific terms with the linked source. General guide observation, not a universal property condition or furniture-price estimate.

KU's international housing guide says most apartments are unfurnished and notes that furniture may need to be purchased and delivered. Confirm the actual furnished inventory and delivery costs for a selected property before committing.
