Towson University
Towson's student parking page distinguishes Core, Overflow and Residential permits. Its published table lists Core eligibility for students with at least 30 credits and Overflow eligibility for first-year students below 30 credits as well as qualifying commuters; residential parking depends on the student's residence category and designated area. A valid permit is required for reserved spaces, and eligible access does not guarantee an available space. Confirm the actual student classification, permit, zone and posted restrictions before parking or choosing housing around an assumed campus space. These rules establish permit categories and access, not 2026–27 permit prices. Check the current official rate table separately before budgeting. For a student living in a residence hall, use the permit and area actually assigned to that residence category; a parent's visitor trip is a separate parking question. Check the purchase process before bringing a vehicle; out-of-state status does not establish a residential permit or Core access. A campus permit does not create an off-street parking right at a private property or establish parking-related rent or revenue. Verify the property agreement separately.
