For an approved cancellation under UMD's 2026–27 agreement, the effective date depends on checkout and return of all assigned keys, or the approved effective date before move-in. Charges remain due through that date, and any credit depends on the agreement's remaining-semester calculation. Cancelling spring after occupying housing in fall does not erase fall charges. Obtain Resident Life's approval and confirm the date and resulting housing and dining charges; moving out alone does not cancel the agreement.
