Treat Towson's 2026–27 university housing agreement as an academic-year commitment covering fall and spring or the remaining term, rather than a month-to-month private lease. The agreement separately describes the housing advance payment, cancellation charges, waiver conditions, checkout-based housing refunds and dining obligations. Get the applicable contract provisions and the university's decision for the student's actual situation before assuming that an early departure ends the balance. A prorated housing refund, a cancellation-fee waiver and treatment of the nonrefundable advance are different questions. This guidance does not calculate a student's liability or decide a private lease dispute.
