The published Homewood 2026–27 calendar identifies August 23, 2026 for new first-year and transfer move-in and August 29 for continuing or returning students. The separate Spring 2027 move-out instructions require departure within 24 hours after the last final or by noon on Thursday, May 20, 2027, whichever comes first. Plan packing, storage and travel around the student's own assignment and final-exam schedule. A student whose last final is earlier cannot simply use the final closing date as the departure deadline. Confirm any break arrangements separately; these campus dates do not establish permission to occupy a residence through every break or summer. A private lease has its own possession and termination terms, so the university calendar does not set a landlord's move-in or move-out date.
