Exemptions may be granted for a first-year student who is at least 21 before the first fall class day; is under 17 and lives within about 30 miles with parents/family; lives with a spouse, partner or children; is a military veteran with at least two years of prior active service; or has documented hardship requiring specialized accommodations unavailable in campus housing or Granville Towers. A waiver requires an active housing application, the waiver form, and supporting documentation.
