UMD’s 2026–27 agreement allows changes among eligible resident dining plans through the second week of classes. It also describes a 14-day window after moving into a kitchen-equipped on-campus apartment to request release from the required plan. These are separate processes: moving rooms does not automatically cancel dining obligations. Ask Dining Services to confirm the request and its effective date; moving back to housing that requires a resident plan means obtaining an eligible plan.
