Under UMD’s Fall 2026–Spring 2027 housing agreement, the Agreement Buyout option is available only before the resident checks in. After check-in, a resident must use any applicable authorized cancellation process under the agreement rather than assume the buyout option remains available. Ask Resident Life to confirm the applicable ground, approval and effective date before relying on a release. Moving out on its own does not establish an approved cancellation.
