University of Tampa: When should my student apply for housing?

Apply as soon as the student has decided to attend, paid the required deposit and the housing application is available.
New students complete housing in StarRez after the required admission/housing deposit is on file. Assignment priority is based on the date the completed housing application is submitted, so an earlier housing application improves priority even though paying the admissions deposit earlier by itself does not establish housing priority.
