If a student does not choose a roommate, USF can assign one using the housing-profile preference information and available space.
USF's FAQ describes roommate assignment using preference information supplied in the Housing Portal, including a multi-point personal-information profile. Availability remains controlling, so the matching process should be treated as preference-based rather than a compatibility guarantee.
