University of South Florida: When will my student receive their housing assignment?
DIRECT ANSWER
This answer preserves school guidance recorded on 2026-09-01. Follow the linked university sources for current requirements, costs and dates.
USF uses scheduled room-selection rounds rather than one universal assignment date.
For 2026–27 incoming students, roommate grouping ran Feb. 2–Mar. 2, selection times were emailed March 5, the first selection round began March 10, and the main selection deadline was April 1 at 4 p.m., with a second round beginning April 7. Students should rely on the Housing Portal and their specific selection message.
