University of Maryland: What incoming-student housing deadline did UMD publish for the 2026–27 cycle?
DIRECT ANSWER
Historical May 1, 2026 deadline for the 2026–27 incoming-student cycle only; no new or future guarantee, room selection or individual assignment established.
UMD’s 2026–27 new-student guidance listed May 1, 2026 as the deadline to submit the Residence Hall Housing and Dining Agreement for the published incoming-student housing guarantee, subject to the completed contract and required fees. That deadline had already passed by the October 19, 2026 review. It is historical cycle information. Check Resident Life for the student’s actual contract status and any applicable current application window; this date does not establish an open application period or a particular room assignment.
