Northern Arizona University: What should a student pack or budget separately?
DIRECT ANSWER
Original source observation: October 16, 2026. Primary-source review: October 17, 2026. Confirm current dates, costs, eligibility and availability with the linked publisher. Campus facts and general planning guidance do not determine an individual property's lawful use, employment benefits or mortgage eligibility.
NAU’s 2026–27 on-campus housing page says utilities, high-speed internet and laundry are included, so those are not separate on-campus utility items. Budget separately for food/meal-plan choices, personal supplies, transportation, and winter clothing; first-year students living on campus are required to select a meal plan, while private off-campus leases may have different inclusions that must be checked directly.
