If my student's belongings are stolen or damaged, will CSUMB reimburse us?

Covered personal-property losses may be reimbursable through the included GradGuard policy, subject to policy terms and the $100 deductible—not automatically by CSUMB itself.
CSUMB lists theft, fire, smoke, vandalism, sprinkler discharge and certain water losses as examples that may be covered by the included GradGuard renters policy. The student should report the incident and follow the insurer's claims process.
