Yes. Auburn Transportation Services describes a University Shuttle for faculty and staff, for official university business from one on-campus location to another. It is a courtesy service, first come first served, with calls answered 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday; it does not offer scheduled rides and is unavailable during university holidays and closures. The page explicitly excludes students and student employees. This is not a home-to-campus commute service. The separate By Request Service is limited to designated university-owned locations and official business, while jAUnt requires approval through the Office of Accessibility for a qualifying medical mobility need. Check the current operating instructions for the trip rather than treating these services as unrestricted transport to any worksite.
For Boston College faculty and staff, answer this with the exact building or work site and actual shift times, current parking, transit, shuttle, walking and cycling rules, and peak and off-peak travel plus backup commute options. CH2 uses current school-specific sources where available and flags missing employee-specific data instead of borrowing a rule, price or benefit from another university.

For University of Alabama employees comparing transport resources, distinguish UA's Crimson Ride campus network from the city-operated University Shuttle. UA's Fall 2026–Spring 2027 route page says Crimson Ride connects campus academic buildings, residence halls, parking areas and other destinations, and publishes apartment services with separate daytime and evening arrangements. The same page expressly says students, faculty and staff can ride Tuscaloosa Transit's University Shuttle at no charge, connecting campus with downtown and other Tuscaloosa destinations. This is not evidence of an employee-only home-pickup service or transport to every outside worksite. Use the linked routes and TripShot to confirm the relevant stop, hours, rider requirements and calendar before depending on a journey.
