When will my student know their UT Austin room assignment?

First-time freshmen receive a room-selection time by June 1; LLC selection begins the first week of June and general selection the following week.
UT Austin says eligible first-time incoming freshmen receive an email by June 1 with a room-selection time. LLC room assignment begins the first week of June and general room selection begins the following week. Students who do not select a space may be manually assigned later based on preferences, profile information and availability.
