For a room or residence hall HVAC problem, UNT Facilities says to submit a Service Request ASAP. The facilities service-request page covers general maintenance and repair, and the residence-help page points students with issues in their room or residence hall to the same step.

- If the problem is urgent outside normal business hours, UNT says phone calls are only accepted for urgent requests.

In practice, that means the housing team and Facilities work together on room problems, but the maintenance request goes through Facilities.
