For Fall 2026, UCLA’s page said students could view their assigned unloading zone in the move-in information in their housing portal. On arrival, signs and staff would direct them to that zone. It described True Bruin Ambassadors helping unload and move belongings to the room, and satellite check-in stations where students would be directed to have their BruinCard encoded for room access. The page also allowed for rideshare arrivals and told riders to know their unloading zone. This explains the published arrival and check-in route for that event; knowing a zone is not proof that a card is encoded or an individual has completed check-in.
