Closing time by day
For Fall 2026, Trinity University’s Coates Library closes at 12 midnight on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. It closes at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. These hours apply for August 24 through December 11, 2026.
- Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m. to 12 midnight.
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 midnight.
- Weekend access requires a valid Tiger Card for electronic entry.
If you’re visiting as a guest
Coates Library is open to public visitors Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can use public areas, but private study rooms and lockers are limited to currently enrolled Trinity students.
- Public access: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Guest Wi-Fi accounts are active for 1 day; temporary guest computer logins expire at the end of the day.
