Start in Roosevelt’s Housing Portal with your Net ID and password, and review the Academic Year Housing Contract before you apply. The university says the housing application stays open until space runs out; if no space is available, students are waitlisted and assigned a permanent room when one opens, based on when the contract and deposit were received. The Housing Deposit Waiver process can take 5 to 10 business days, so don’t plan on instant access.

Where students live and move in
Roosevelt’s residence halls include the Wabash Building and University Center. Move-in dates align with the first week of classes, and the university lists separate dates for new international students, new freshmen, new graduate and doctoral students, transfer students, and returning students; athletes needing early arrival are told to contact their coach directly.
- Wabash Building residents use 425 South Wabash Avenue as the building address.
- University Center is at 525 South State Street.
- Meal plans activate on move-in day, and residents use their student ID to buy food in the dining center.
Food, Wi‑Fi, storage, and off-campus help
Dining is all-you-care-to-eat buffet style at the University Center dining hall, and flex dollars there can only be used at the UC dining hall or convenience store. Roosevelt also points students to MyResNet setup for Wabash residents, Campus Storage for summer moving and storage, and College Pads for off-campus housing and roommate searches; Roosevelt says it does not manage or endorse off-campus listings.
