Menlo College: Can we cancel the housing contract before move-in?
DIRECT ANSWER
Yes, students may request cancellation before move-in, but timing controls the penalty and release is not automatic.
Menlo says students must submit the Change of Housing form. For fall, requests before July 1 have no penalty, July 1–31 carry a $200 penalty, and August 1 through the first day of class carry a $300 penalty. A request does not itself guarantee release.
