The Roommate Process section describes a profile-based Roommate Finder and required groups of one or two students. Requests must be mutual with matching housing preferences, and the page says they are not guaranteed.
LMU’s Roommate Process section describes a Roommate Finder that students can use to search for and match with people whose application-profile answers are similar. If a student has no specific roommate and does not match with someone, the page says Housing will pair the student using the profile answers. Students can send and accept requests with their roommate pairing number. The section says all students must belong to a roommate group and that a group may contain one or two students, so a one-person group is within that stated size. Roommate requests must be mutual and each roommate’s housing preferences must be the same. The page expressly says requests are not guaranteed; using the tool or forming a group does not confirm a particular roommate placement.
