How does Georgia Tech roommate matching work if my student does not pick someone?
DIRECT ANSWER
If a student does not choose a roommate, Georgia Tech can fill the open bed with another eligible resident.
Students are not required to preselect a roommate. The housing system may assign another resident to an open space, and the contract requires students to keep an unoccupied bed and shared space ready for a new roommate.
