Georgia Tech: What happens if my student does not receive housing or is waiting for space?

If space is unavailable, Georgia Tech may place a contracted student on a housing waitlist until a room becomes available.
The 2026–27 housing contract explains that an executed contract can still result in waitlist placement when space is unavailable. A student may cancel while waiting without the standard cancellation penalty; after an assignment is offered, the contract's assignment/cancellation rules apply.
