Georgia Tech: Can the bed be raised, bunked or lofted?

Students may use approved adjustable/bunked configurations where available, but they may not build their own loft and may not adjust the bed themselves.
Georgia Tech says custom lofts may not be constructed. Many beds can be set low, medium, high or bunked, but adjustments must be performed by Housing maintenance staff or authorized contractors; bed rails are required when raised above the specified height.
