The named examples are historical as of October 18, 2026. This guide does not replace them with an inferred 2026–2027 or 2027–2028 cohort, or infer that an academic-year application includes summer. The tutorial is not evidence of a current opening date, priority deadline, application availability, student eligibility, completed submission, contract coverage or available housing. No portal or student record was inspected, and the linked video and images were not opened separately.
After Apply for Housing, Step 6 says to select the intended term and illustrates that choice with Academic Year 2024–2025, Spring 2025 Only and Summer 2025. These are historical examples, not current application windows.
In FIU’s How to Apply tutorial, Step 5 is Click Apply for Housing and Step 6 says to select the term you wish to apply for. Its examples are Academic Year 2024–2025, Spring 2025 Only and Summer 2025. The examples show how the page labels a term choice; they do not establish that those terms can still be selected or that a present application covers a different term. Confirm the intended term using FIU’s applicable instructions and Housing assistance before relying on an old example.
