This guide uses the explicitly named Fall 2027–Spring 2028 academic-year example and the page’s separate-summer statement. The separate Spring 2027 block is a different term. The Summer Only block is not relabeled with an inferred summer-session year here. The page says dates are subject to change. This guide adopts no application-opening date, priority deadline or currently open window, and it does not determine an individual’s admission, campus or housing eligibility, contract obligations, payment status or available space. The linked Owldone and housing applications were not opened.
The page describes Fall 2027–Spring 2028 as one academic-year application covering both semesters and says summer requires a separate application. That term distinction does not confirm that an application is open or housing is available.
FAU’s Academic Year (Fall and Spring) block names a Fall 2027–Spring 2028 application for admitted first-year students at the Boca Raton campus and Wilkes Honors College on the Jupiter campus, with entry through the linked Owldone Portal. The Important Tips section explains that this academic-year application covers both fall and spring, while summer is a separate application. It says a housing application covers only the term selected. These statements distinguish application scope; they do not turn an academic-year application into a summer request or confirm that a student has completed either application.
