What the housing process asks you to do
DePaul’s room selection process starts with completing a housing agreement in the Housing Portal at myhousing.depaul.edu. If you are assigned to campus housing and then cancel before your housing agreement starts, DePaul says there is a $1,500 cancellation fee.

What daily life rules matter
DePaul’s resident rules limit a student’s housing assignment to no more than two visitors inside at one time, and smoking-related violations in residence halls can trigger a $150 cleaning or damage fee. Bikes cannot be ridden or stored inside residence halls; DePaul also says bikes should use designated racks or the bike corrals, including the fenced corral near McCabe Hall and the Clifton parking garage corral.
