Boston College says anyone can submit a maintenance request for heating or cooling repairs. Use the Submit a Maintenance Request link through the BC work request system, and include a title, the building, and the room. BC also says more detail helps technicians respond, and you can add a photo or video.

Urgent HVAC problem
For emergencies such as no heat, leaks, flooding, broken locks, or combination pad problems, BC instructs residents to immediately call the Facilities Service Center at 617-552-3048. If Facilities is closed, BC says to call the BCPD at 617-552-4444.

What happens after you submit it
BC Facilities Services determines the priority and assigns the work item to the right trade shop. The Residential Life page says a work request should be completed within 7 days, and if it is not, you should contact your Resident Director.
