This is the normal reporting path for maintenance problems in residence housing, including HVAC issues, and only the student can submit the maintenance request so staff can follow up directly.

- If the issue is in a residence hall, the student can also contact a Resident Assistant or Community Coordinator for help at any time.
When it’s an emergency
If the HVAC issue is tied to an emergency such as fire, flood, or any life or health safety issue, Austin College says to contact Campus Police right away at 903.813.2555. Campus Police is listed as open 24 hours a day.
