Where can graduate students park securely?
Graduate students can use the Tempe campus card-access bicycle and scooter parking facilities. These include the Mill Avenue Parking Structure, Novus Parking Garage, Packard Drive South Parking Garage, Palm Walk north of Tyler Mall, Rural Road Parking Garage, South of Biodesign Institute A along Terrace Mall, and South of Payne Hall. ASU also offers free supervised bike and scooter valet parking at three Tempe locations.
- Card-access facilities are available to any student, employee, or affiliate with a valid ASU ID who completes bike or scooter registration.
- Valet locations are east of Memorial Union, next to Noble Science Library, and west of Lyceum Theater.
- Valet service runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; there is no valet service on weekends, class breaks, or university holidays.
How do they get access?
For card-access bike parking, students need a valid ASU ID, ASU email address, and bike or scooter registration. ASU says these facilities are free to all Sun Devils with an active ASU ID card, and the bike or scooter must be securely locked inside the facility. For valet parking, you bring your bike or scooter to a valet station and the attendant gives you a claim tag for retrieval.
- Register your bike with ASU online or at any Tempe campus bicycle valet station or Parking and Transportation customer service office.
- ASU says all students, faculty, and staff who bring a bicycle to campus are required to register it.
- Bikes and scooters locked to anything other than a rack are subject to impoundment.
